i - Button, Informations
Here you will find descriptive information such as definitions, references to literature, comments on methodology, etc.

Index
The keyword index facilitates the search for terms included in the list of indicators, the meta-information and on the query pages. Click on the first letter of the term you are searching for in the letter bar and select from the terms then listed. Terms which appear on every query page (i.e. region, sex, age group, year) are not included in the index.

Indicators
A list of terms and titles of the query pages sorted by topic so that you can select your query by subject matter.

List of Query pages
Link to a list with all available query pages (site map).

% - Percentage calculation
Calculation of relative proportions in the result table.
First the base value (100%) for the calculation should be set by a click in the relevant blank circle. If required the table can first be rotated so that the position of lines and columns facilitates the desired selection. The system does not check whether the calculations make sense. Minimal deviations from the total value of 100% are due to rounding-off. Please note any methodological comments activated by Info-buttons.

Printing format
This button is found on the result page. It limits the reproduction of result tables with headings and source information for a printed or saved version. Specified information is given as footnotes.

Query
You start a query according to the pre-set feature marking or as selected by you. Please note the texts behind the info-buttons.

Query Page
You return directly to the query page on which you were previously located. The feature selection chosen remains unaltered.

Query result "no data available"
Return to your starting point via the button "Query Page", "Indicators" or "List of Query Pages" and start a new selection. Please note the information given on the features selected. There may be no data available for your selection.

Return to Previous
To restore the selected features to the previous setting.

Rotate table
In so doing you change the order of the table-lines and columns. Tables can be rotated any number of times, but only in one direction. This function is important to set the basis value for percentage calculations.
